Frank, I'm sure there is a pretty good seal outside the bearing and pressure washing isn't the cause. Bearing could be bad but I would look for a twig or stick wedged in the cover area. Remember to use blue loctite or = if you remove the belt cover screws so they don't vibrate out later. Mine squeaks unless the belt is carefully lined up and centered on the pulleys -both drive and wheel. Max
